Hiring: Community Mobilizer – FDMN Camp, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar
HAEFA is looking for Community Mobilizer to support essential health services by assisting with patient screening, community outreach, health education, and follow-up care.

Job Location: FDMN Camp, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar
Employment Type: Full-time (3 months Probationary Period)
Duration of Contract: Initially 12 months (renewable)
Health and Education for All (HAEFA) is a global leader in healthcare for underserved and vulnerable populations in Bangladesh, including remote and challenging areas. Utilizing innovative technologies like the solar-powered NIROG EHR system for managing chronic diseases and providing paperless cervical cancer screening and treatment, HAEFA is committed to empowering disadvantaged communities through sustainable health and education.
- Conduct patient screening (check vital signs, measure height & weight, MUAC) and assist in triage at health facilities.
- Visit the FDMN community to conduct household-level screenings, identify health issues, and collect data for program planning and follow-up.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and community members on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.
- Support doctors and nurses during consultations, minor procedures, immunizations, and outreach health camps.
- Maintain accurate records in registers, logs, and electronic systems (e.g., NIROG Tab), ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Identify patients needing referrals and coordinate with supervisors for appropriate actions.
- Follow strict infection prevention and control (IPC) measures to maintain a safe environment.
- Uphold cultural sensitivity, patient dignity, and ethical standards in all interactions.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors to support health service delivery and program objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum SSC or HSC (or equivalent)
- Experience in community health, data collection, or clinic settings is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage respectfully with diverse populations.
- Basic understanding of health education, patient confidentiality, and community engagement.
- Willingness to work in camps, remote areas, and travel regularly to the FDMN community.
