Position Overview: 

HAEFA is looking for a BMDC-registered Medical Officer (Female) to provide healthcare services to FDMNs in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. This is a full-time contractual position (initially for 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding).

• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and treatment.
• Monitor and administer medications while maintaining patient records in NIROG (EHR system).
• Assess and plan treatment, referrals, and necessary diagnostic tests.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Coordinate with local government (CIC/RRRC, DGHS), UN agencies, NGOs, and INGOs for healthcare service integration.
• Promote health education and community engagement.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and explain treatments to patients.
• Supervise medical camps, training, and meetings.

Requirements:

• MBBS with BMDC registration (must include BMDC number in the application).
• 1-3 years of clinical experience. (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
